"So much in life depends on our attitude. The way we choose to see things and respond to others makes all the difference. To do the best we can and then to choose to be happy about our circumstances, whatever they may be, can bring peace and contentment."—Thomas S. Monson

Crash of the computer

It is a sad day here on Bunchberry! We found out our computer is DEAD! Dad's IT guy at work has been working on the computer and pronounced the verdict today. They had hoped to be able to salvage the data off the hard drive, but it is inaccessible, so we'll just have to start over. Thank goodness for Dad's laptop. It has at least kept me able to get access to the internet. So any pictures you want to copy onto CD's and donate to the cause will be appreciated!

I'll pack my external hard drive. I think I have Sara's grad photos and Disney World photos... maybe cruise... I'm not sure what all I had you put on there last year. Don't throw out the old one. We might be able to find some way to get the data off. Stick it in the freezer. Seriously.

I was gonna bring my laptop home for Christmas, but I'm not now because I'm too afraid that it will have Juno installed on it by the time I leave. Once that happens, a computer's useful life is minimal at best.

Okay, Sarah, I have to know. Why do you stick it in the freezer?
