Taylor had the Capital Invitational tennis tournament this weekend. Capital hosts 28 school from Utah, Oregon, Washington and Idaho and it is always a great tournament. Taylor and Nick played #1 boys doubles and had a great tournament. They won all 3 matches of their pool play on Friday and had a bye for their first round game on Sat. morning. They played Kamiahkin from Washington in the quarter finals and won 7-6 (7-2), and 5-7, 7-3. It was a great match. Then they played Idaho Falls in the semi-finals. One of the kids on the Idaho Falls team played at State last year in the championship match (his partner graduated) and he is really good. We lost 7-5, 7-5. It was a good warm up for state. I know they can beat those kids. Taylor didn't play his best and neither did Nick. So all, in all, they did well, and will get ready for the District tournament which starts May 6.

Way to go Taylor!!!! Hope you guys do great at State. Still remember when Whitney played in the Tri-Cities and we drove over there to watch her - it was a lot of fun...maybe you guys will play in WA. and if you do, we'll most definetly be there :)
Good job Beanold!! He's a tennis ace. I just know you'll be rewarded for deciding not to play on Sunday.:) I can't believe how bare those sad trees are in the background. It still looks like winter!! I think we're getting your weather now, lows in the 40's all next week.:(
Nice job, Taylor! I like the flying picture . . . You look like a professional!
YOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOO!
Nice job Beans! We're excited for state!
Holy Moly!! Taylor is amazing! Let's just hope there are no small dogs that show up...
