"So much in life depends on our attitude. The way we choose to see things and respond to others makes all the difference. To do the best we can and then to choose to be happy about our circumstances, whatever they may be, can bring peace and contentment."—Thomas S. Monson

Whit Tickles the Ivories

We had a wonderful trip to Utah to see Whitney's Jr. Recital. She was fantastic!! She did such a great job entertaining us and remembering ALL 50 minutes of her music during her recital. We also got to see her Jazz Voices concert on Thursday night which was great as well! It has been so fun to have Lucy around. She LOVED Whitney's performances and sat so still and listened to both. She loves music. Here's a link to all our pictures and the rest of the videos I took of her songs. The videos aren't very good quality but you can get an idea. Fortunately a friend videotaped the performance and is making us all DVD's and BYU is making a CD of it! Great job Whitney!

It sounds like you guys had a great time!!! Whitney is such a "virtuoso" and so very talented to be able to play and sing at the same time. Way to go Whitney!!!

We are so, so, sad that we missed it. Whit will have to give us a private performance this summer. Katie kept texting me during the performance to tell me how amazing she sounded.

By the way, the pictures were fabulous.

No offense to Beano but I would like to rescind all previous comments that I have made about him being the most talented of the Morris clan. The Chief has clearly cornered the market on all of the worthwhile Morris genes. Do you think there is any chance that some of those genes will skip a generation and filter down to little Clementine?

P.S. The Chief is a babe.

By the way, I think I made that Crunchy Noodle Salad once. I remember it being really good. You'll have to tell me how it turns out. I made your Atlanta Salad recipe last week from your mom's recipes. Devin and I really liked it.
