"So much in life depends on our attitude. The way we choose to see things and respond to others makes all the difference. To do the best we can and then to choose to be happy about our circumstances, whatever they may be, can bring peace and contentment."—Thomas S. Monson

High School Tennis District 3 Tournament

We've spent the past week at Taylor's district tennis matches. He and Nick did so well. They played Meridian on Tuesday and won 6-2, 6-1. They played Boise on Wednesday and won 6-3, 6-3. They played a really good Mountain View team on Thursday and lost the first set in a tie break 6-7(7-4), won the second set 6-3, then won the third set 7-5. It was so exciting.

They played in the district championship match down at BSU last night against Centennial and lost 6-4, 6-3. I think they had had such an emotional win the night before, they were mentally exhausted and just didn't play their best.

Oh well, 2nd in District is pretty great. So now they prepare for the State tournament which starts next Friday. Good luck Capital!
