"So much in life depends on our attitude. The way we choose to see things and respond to others makes all the difference. To do the best we can and then to choose to be happy about our circumstances, whatever they may be, can bring peace and contentment."—Thomas S. Monson

Adios Boise, Hola Mexico!

We just returned from a fun vacation to Playa del Carmen Mexico with Devin and Sarah. It was so nice to escape the blustery weather and head somewhere warm.
We had so much fun:
*eating authentic tacoes al pastore
*learning about our Book of Mormon ancestors and exploring Mayan ruins at Tulum
*having beach picnics all of which were rated a 10!

*playing in the ocean and doing lots of snorkelling

*eating out at some awesome restaurants

*watching BYU beat Florida
*going to Xcaret and learning all about the Mexican culture

*hanging out at our beautiful resort

*drinking yummy fruit drinks and pina coladas

*walking and shopping on 5th Avenue in Playa

It was a great trip and a welcome respite after a long winter:} We can't wait to say Hola to Mexico again!

Looks like an amazing trip! Can I be a Morris and tag along next time? Unless it's to Russia... I would prefer Hawaii!

Sorry Sara, but we spent all of our money on this trip:( I just knew you would understand. How could I resist a massage on the beach and a new t-shirt and more earrings for Miss Joan? But don't worry, Kuna is calling your name, and it has "perfect trip" written all over it.

Wow! It looks like you guys had a fabulous time in Cancun! The food looks so yummy, but the pina coladas make me want one right now. Can't believe Playa del Carmen has developed so much since we were there a few years ago. Glad you had a great time.
