"So much in life depends on our attitude. The way we choose to see things and respond to others makes all the difference. To do the best we can and then to choose to be happy about our circumstances, whatever they may be, can bring peace and contentment."—Thomas S. Monson

Happiest Place on Earth, Part 2 (WARNING LOTS OF PICTURES)

We started out the week at the Magic Kingdom. We arrived an hour early so we could get our tickets and line up for all the fun. Our first stop was the newly renovated Fantasy Land! Come to think of it, we spent a lot of time in Fantasyland.
It wasn't easy keeping a group of 10 people together, but we did a pretty good job of it!

We even got to ride on Dumbo. I haven't ridden that ride for years. It was pretty fun!
The new Toy Story ride!
Autopia
We went strong all morning and finally took a break for lunch, along with about 5000 other people!
We thought we had the perfect week to visit the Magic Kingdom, too early for spring break, still February, etc. Well, little did we know that the entire state of Louisiana gets out of school for the Mardi Gras break. Keep that in mind if you are planning a trip to the Magic Kingdom.
The Haunted Mansion, Zachy's favorite ride

So glad we stopped for this group shot. We were always hurrying here and there and didn't get too many pics of the whole group.

We closed the park down that night. Sophie was running on fumes but LOVED rocking out in Tomorrowland with Pluto and Goofy and Stitch as the adults took turns riding on Space Mountain.
At the end of the day, my Fitbit said we had walked 12 miles!

On Tuesday we went to the Hollywood Studios (formerly known as MGM Studios)

Minnnie Mouse especially loved meeting baby Leah
The kids loved the Disney Jr. show
Eva loved the "Honey I Shrunk the Kids" playground
We made reservations and had lunch at the SciFi Dine In. It was a fun treat and a nice place to relax and eat while watching B Sci-fi movies.

The Beauty and the Beast show was awesome.

A picture of the picture they took of Devin and I on the Hollywood Tower of Terror ride.
My all time favorite!

In front of the Indiana Jones Stunt show. He kind of looks like Indiana Jones don't you think?

We stayed for the Fantasmic show that night. It was incredible and we had awesome seats right in the front rows.

Wednesday we were off to Epcot. We spent the morning in Innoventions and designed our own roller coasters and rode Test Track, Soarin and the Boats in the greenhouse.
We spent the afternoon in the countries.
Alice in Wonderland in England

The little princesses loved seeing Ariel.

We had a delicious French treat in France. Devin was in heaven.
Princess Aurora and Belle in France

Snow White in Germany. I love Zachy's face in this picture. He looks a little chagrined.

Lucy and Sophie participated in the Pledge of Allegiance in the United States.

We headed over to the Polynesian Resort for dinner that night and to meet Whitney. Whitney had flown in from Provo Wednesday afternoon, so we had dinner with her and watched the Disney fireworks show from the Polynesian's beach. It was awesome!
On Thursday, Valentine's Day, Jon and Sara and family went to Sea World (the military gave Jon free tickets for the family). Devin, Whitney and Tom went to Universal Studios so Sarah and I and Eva and Sophie had a relaxing day at our resort. We went to the outlet malls, had lunch at Chick Fil-A, and got in the hot pool in the middle of a downpour. It was nice to have a down day.
Here's a slideshow of Tom's Universal Studios pictures.
Friday was our last day at Disneyworld so we made the most of it. We started off at Animal Kingdom.

The Safari ride is awesome. You really do feel like you are on an African Safari.

We loved the Mount Everest Roller Coaster! So Fun!

We spent a ton of time in Dino Land. The kids loved the fossil playground.

We had a delicious lunch of barbecue ribs. Eva and Sophie were scared of the hungry ducks.

Then it was park hopping over to the Magic Kingdom for our final hurrah!
Everybody loves Auntie Whitney!

We stopped for a visit with Snow White and Prince Charming and then did all our favorite rides.
Thunder Mountain Railroad is at the top of everyone's list!

We watched the Electric Light Parade and the Fireworks

And then closed down the place in Gaston's cafe.
Saturday we all met for breakfast at Tom's favorite eatery "Waffle House" and then we all went our separate ways.

We had a fantastic time together in the Happiest Place on Earth!
We can't wait until we can all be together again, maybe next time with Taylor tagging along!
