"So much in life depends on our attitude. The way we choose to see things and respond to others makes all the difference. To do the best we can and then to choose to be happy about our circumstances, whatever they may be, can bring peace and contentment."—Thomas S. Monson

October Odds and Ends

Wow, September is gone? I can't believe we are halfway through October. I guess it's good that we are staying busy. We haven't done anything too exciting this fall, but we're having fun.  We started  an "empty nesters" FHE group with our friends and neighbors the Hathaway's, Manwaring's and Carr's.
We rode on the greenbelt a few weeks back.
Last weekend, Missy blessed her cute new baby Claire.
Stacy and her two girls, Londyn and Maddy, flew into town, plus Pam and Roger brought Grandma Stratford plus Jedd's parents, Wendell and Pam Smith were here. Missy invited me (Tom was out of town) over for a pasta dinner.
It was delicious!

Proud big sister, Ellie.

All the girls!
Thanks Stratford's for including me in the fun!

You are on the ball, Joan. We were all so glad you could come be with us Saturday night. My girls love their Aunt Joan and on the drive home with Lois, she said, "I really like Joan!"

What a great idea to have an "Empty Nesters" FHE" group!
It looks like a wonderful gathering for the baby blessing - how fun that you could be there! You are always so good to support family events!
