We arrived home from Colorado and the next day, Sarah brought Sophie over so that Sarah could go to the temple one last time before baby came.Sophie and I went to Micky D's for lunch and Sophie loved her delicious ice cream cone.
The next morning I drove up to Hidden Springs early in the morning so Devin and Sarah could head to the hospital so Sarah could be induced.
I got there at 6:30 am and was able to get Eva off to school.
Sophie came home with me and we hung out together and then picked up Eva after school.
We waited patiently (most of the time) to hear from Devin and Sarah and finally at 5:30 pm we got this beautiful picture of Sarah and baby boy Morris.
He weighed in at a whopping 9 lb. 12 oz.
and everybody healthy and well.
The best news you can hear.
We were so excited to meet him and got to the hospital around 7 pm.
These were two excited sisters ready to meet their baby brother.
plus, one excited Grandma
and Grandpa
There's nothing sweeter than a brand new baby fresh from heaven.
The girls stayed at our house on Friday night and we were anxious
to go back to the hospital on Saturday to see baby Thomas Palmer Morris again.
This is one proud Daddy!
A beautiful family of FIVE!
Eva loves holding this little guy
Ready to head home from the hospital
Grandpa Tom with baby Tommy!
We took Devin and the girls on a Labor Day picnic to give Sarah a break and we drove up to Robie Creek.
We had a delicious picnic with croissants and chicken salad sandwiches,
but there wasn't any water in the lake
So the kids played on the playground instead
We finally found some water at More's creek and Eva did such a great job posing for this picture.
The girls were so excited to get back to their baby brother that our outing didn't last too long, but it was fun to spend a few hours in the mountains on Labor Day.
Welcome to the family baby Tommy!
