April Adventures!

I got home from BYU just in time for Easter.

I love it when Easter and General Conference are on the same weekend.

I listened to Conference on my drive home from Utah on Saturday and on Sunday

I hosted Easter dinner.

I invited the full-time missionaries and Devin and Sarah and family.

I made this delicious lemon cake, Kay's recipe.

We served ham loaf, asparagus, funeral potatoes, lemon pudding salad, and rolls.

I made it for Lucille.

We celebrated the Trashers NCAA basketball bracket tournament winner at DQ!

I flew to Colorado in mid April to take care the Cardon kids.

These two girls were excited to see me.

Sara and Jon flew to Las Vegas on Thursday night and on Friday morning, I woke up to this.

On Saturday, I took the kids to the park.

The snow had mostly melted but there was a very cold wind.

Sara and Jon returned from Las Vegas late on Saturday night.

Here they are all dressed up in their Easter finery on Sunday just in time for church.

 

Sunday afternoon before I headed to the airport,

Lucy and I went on a neighborhood walk.

Lizzie helped to chauffeur me to the airport.

My friend Colleen invited a group of us to go to Ballet Idaho's version of Swan Lake.
We went out to dinner for Colleen's birthday before dinner.
