May started out with a fiesta when Missy hosted our annual Cinco de Mayo party.
She always serves "Cafe Rio" pork salad/burritos.
Sarah brought fun Mexican soda and drinks and I made a Tres Leches cake for dessert.
The kid's table.
The adult's table.
Unfortunately, Aaron and Carina weren't able to come to the party
and John and Cindy are in the Philippines so of course couldn't make it.
After dinner the kids got to break open a pinata.
Anders broke it open!
We had such an enjoyable night. Thanks Missy and Jed!
I love to hike in the foothills and took these pictures one morning on my hike.
My friend Holly went with me to get a pedicure the day before we left for Hawaii.
Once we got home from Hawaii, we got into the business of May.
Sarah invited me to watch Tommy swim at his swim lessons.
Sarah had to get into the pool to help Tommy cooperate.
The swim teacher was so sweet with Tommy.
My latest crochet project.
I love attending Sophie and Eva's dance recitals.
They both did so well.
The supportive family
Eva and Sophie with their dance teacher.
The Monday before Memorial day, I hosted my piano recital.
Each of my students performed a memorized, solo piece and a duet with me.
They all did a good job.
I always try to get a group shot, but the lighting isn't very good
and the group is so large it didn't turn out very well.
I am always so glad when piano is done for the year.
Now it's on to some summer fun!

Another busy month for the Morris's with a fiesta, swim lesson, hikes, dance recitals etc. etc. You stay so busy Joan! I love your beautiful blue and white afgan - you do good work!!
The Cinco de Mayo party looked so fun! Glad you live close to Missy and can get together. It's fun to see your pics of your grandkids doing all of the fun activities. It's amazing to watch them progress step by step as they grow up. I'm so proud of you teaching all of those piano students; it must make Mom so happy! And also seeing your afghan - you are so talented!
What a fun month! I love your afghan. I wish I could go to Cinco de Mayo!
