It was our annual Oktoberfest at Aunt Cindy and Uncle John's on Saturday night. Whitney came home from BYU for it and Aunt Pam and Uncle Roger also drove up from St. George. They stayed with us on Saturday night and then went to church with us on Sunday. The Oktoberfest was so much fun! We ate LOTS of yummy German food and just enjoyed being together with family and friends. Each year the food just keeps getting better and better. We had weinerschnitzel, lemon meatballs, rouladen, knurdle, spaetzle, mashed potatoes, bratwurst, black forest cake, french onion soup, the list goes on and on... Uncle John's wienerschnitzel is the best of anything we've ever had.Cindy is just the "hostess with the mostess". Everything looked beautiful and tasted even better than it looked. Here are some pictures:

Yummy!! I am sad to miss out on all the fun festivities!! Next year we will do it in Denver!!!
The wienerschnitzel is calling to me!! You just can't buy food like that...everyone looks so cute and happy to be eating delicious German food. You would do Frauke proud. Wann kommt das Essen nach Philly?!?
What did happen to the left over Wienerschnitzel? How come I never seem to make it home with any of that? Schade.
Looks like so much fun and so delicious! So wish I could have been there!
What a great party! You Gabrielsens sure do know how throw a great party. My mouth was watering looking at the pictures.
I need to come next year. Yet another Morris family favorite that I haven't experienced. It's a darn shame. Is Amy's guy in those pics somewhere? We heard he's darling.
You lucky guys. The food looks like it was fantastic. I do admit that I am a little disheartened to see my Dad wearing a Phillies t-shirt. At least my brother knows what it means to be a true fan. Tell Dad he can pull all of his BSU Fiesta Bowl gear out of the closet and start wearing it again. It sure would be nice if BYU played in a conference as pathetic as the WAC.
That food looks delicious! What a fun get-together! Good job at taking pictures.
What a fun tradition to have "Oktoberfest" every year! The food looks amazing and sounds like you guys had quite the crowd.
