"So much in life depends on our attitude. The way we choose to see things and respond to others makes all the difference. To do the best we can and then to choose to be happy about our circumstances, whatever they may be, can bring peace and contentment."—Thomas S. Monson

Back to Bball!

Taylor finished tennis season last month and went immediately into summer league basketball season. He's on Capital's varsity team and they had a tournament in Rexburg at Madison High School the last weekend in May. They played 6 games in 18 hours. Last weekend they played in a tournament at Centennial High school in Meridian. They played great and won all 5 of their games, beating Borah, Centennial, and Vallivue to name a few. This week they are having the Capital Boy's basketball camp and the varsity players get to help coach and instruct the campers so he's going fulltime this week playing basketball as well. This weekend is the BSU basketball camp and they play 2 games Thursday, 3 games Friday and 3 games on Saturday. June 18-20 is their last tournament of the summer league season at Vallivue High School in Caldwell. I think Taylor is looking forward to summer league ending and having a break from sports, although I think he will play in a few tennis tournaments this summer. When basketball ends I can focus fully on getting Whitney ready for her mission. It is going to be here sooner than I'd like. :(
