"So much in life depends on our attitude. The way we choose to see things and respond to others makes all the difference. To do the best we can and then to choose to be happy about our circumstances, whatever they may be, can bring peace and contentment."—Thomas S. Monson

Rain, rain, go away

We have had a very wet and cool spring this year. Usually by June we are done with rainy and windy spring weather, but not this year. Over the weekend we picked up over an inch of rain and today it has rained another inch. The normal rain total for Boise for the entire month of June is 0.74 inches so we are well past that and it is only midway through the month.
I have to admit my garden is loving all the moisture.
Our pool on the other hand, has been open now for two weeks and we still haven't gone for a swim. We're looking for a brave soul to inaugurate the pool this season, so if cool and rainy weather doesn't bother you, come on over.

I'm on my way! It's my favorite to swim in the rain. I love it!

I guess everyone's had a wet June, b/c we're in the same boat. Too much rain!! Unlike your garden though, mine is floundering and dying. There's $60 down the drain. I don't even think I spend that much buying tomatoes at the grocery store in the first place...
