"So much in life depends on our attitude. The way we choose to see things and respond to others makes all the difference. To do the best we can and then to choose to be happy about our circumstances, whatever they may be, can bring peace and contentment."—Thomas S. Monson

The Christmas chaos has begun!

We have had so much fun with Sara, Lucy and Zachary! They came to town last Saturday and they have been keeping us very entertained.
We got to help celebrate Lucy's 3rd birthday.
We've been going to lots of Taylor's basketball games.
We went to the mall to see Santa (Zachy was the only one brave enough to sit on his lap)
We made Christmas goodies, chocolate puffed corn and dipped pretzels.
We have also been helping with Taylor's Eagle Scout Project. His project was to collect cell phones, ink cartridges, lap top computers, etc. and donate them to the Women's and Children's Alliance. The WCA has programs for domestically abused women and children. They refurbish the cell phones and donate them to the families and use the proceeds from the other items to fund programs. The young men and young women helped him deliver flyers on Wednesday night to all the surrounding neighborhoods. It was 9 degrees on Wednesday night but they were all troopers. Then on Saturday morning the young men went back to the neighborhoods and picked up all the donations. They collected 5 big boxes full of stuff. It was amazing! We had donuts and hot chocolate for them afterwards.

We put up our Christmas tree last night and Lucy loved decorating it!
Last night was also the TWIRP (Girl ask boy) dance. Here are Taylor and Brianna.
Last but not least, here are some pictures of Zachy and Lucy after church today in their Christmas outfits. Aren't they so cute?!!
We can't wait for Sarah P and Eva to arrive this week so we can have lots more fun!

No wonder you're not writing to me! You've been on a whirlwind- but what a fun one! Your pretzels look amazing, your decorations are gorgeous, Taylor's project done- wahoo!, and, of course, your grandchildren are adorable. Merry Christmas to you all!

I think you meant to say we decorated the tree with "constellations," right?:)
