While down in Utah taking Taylor to BYU, Patty agreed to host a Tea Party. Patty has become an expert at throwing tea parties since she has hosted about 5 of them. I was present at the first family tea party that we held about 10 years ago at Patty's house in Caldwell. I love this picture of me, my Mom and Whitney.
I had very fond memories of the tea party so was so disappointed that I was unable to attend the last few parties that Patty has hosted. I was thrilled when my sisters were able to drive up from St. George to make it to the Sister's Tea Party (we missed you Cindy and hope you can come next time!) Patty made us a delicious lunch on Friday when Pam and Kay got to town. She made a yummy sweet corn chowder
We shopped at IKEA and went to a yummy Thai food restaurant in American Fork.
Sara, Lucy and Zachy were also able to drive up from Las Vegas for some shopping in Utah and then to attend the tea party on Saturday. Taylor even came to watch Zachy so Sara and Lucy could enjoy the "girl" party. We had delicious "girly" food, and limeade and herbal tea to drink. It was so fun seeing all my nieces
We had a beautiful spread.
After the tea party, Sara, the kids and I, loaded up her van and headed for Boise. Sara was able to spend a week with us for one last summer fling. We watched movies,
and played outside.
Sara was also able to get her china and other wedding gifts that we have been storing at our home. Jonathan flew in on Friday so we all went to the Texas Roadhouse for dinner.

It was so fun to be together and see everyone. It looks like you had a fun week with Sara, too. Can't wait to hear about your trip.
It was a quick. whirlwind trip but definitely worth it. It's sure nice to be within driving distance again!
Are you going to put the Tea Party recipes up on Bunchberry Bites? It sounds like a fun week. How fun for Sara to live within driving distance.
That food looks delicious! And it looks like you had a fun time w/ those awesome Cardon people. ;)
