"So much in life depends on our attitude. The way we choose to see things and respond to others makes all the difference. To do the best we can and then to choose to be happy about our circumstances, whatever they may be, can bring peace and contentment."—Thomas S. Monson

A Happy Birthday Princess Quilt for Lucy!

Today is Lucy's 4th birthday! Happy Birthday to Lucy!!! I can't believe it has been 4 years since she was born in Philadelphia. She is a sweet big sister to Zachy and such a cute little girl. We are so proud of her. For her birthday I made a princess quilt because Lucy LOVES princesses. I didn't have a pattern (I usually buy quilt kits) so I was very brave and used my itsy bitsy creativity skills and was so happy with how it turned out.

"itsy bitsy creative skills?" More like GINOURMOUS AMAZING creative skills! That quilt is absolutely adorable. I wouldn't even know how to begin putting something that cute together. You've got skills, Aunt Joan. I'm impressed.

Wow! Amazing!!!! I love it Aunt Joan. Is it the rag quilt look? It's a little hard to tell the style from the picture. Little Lucy's going to be thrilled!
