"So much in life depends on our attitude. The way we choose to see things and respond to others makes all the difference. To do the best we can and then to choose to be happy about our circumstances, whatever they may be, can bring peace and contentment."—Thomas S. Monson

Skiing into Spring

Last weekend we headed up to Sun Valley, Idaho for one last ski trip before spring. Alan and Kathleen Katseanes (Tom's best friend from Blackfoot High School) invited us up to their condo in Elkhorn. We got up there Friday evening and we enjoyed dinner and visiting at the Roosevelt Tavern. Saturday morning Alan fixed us a delicious breakfast of ham and eggs and scones. Alan, Tom and Kathleen headed to the ski slopes, I met them for lunch at the River Run Lodge (this isn't your typical aki lodge hamburger grill, we had stir fry with shrimp and scallops) and then Kathleen and I shopped in Ketchum and Tom and Alan had some male bonding time on the slopes. It turned into a beautiful blue sky day of skiing. Thanks Katseanes's.

Why wasn't Miss Joan out there on the ski slopes with everyone else?? You'd make quite the snow bunny...
