"So much in life depends on our attitude. The way we choose to see things and respond to others makes all the difference. To do the best we can and then to choose to be happy about our circumstances, whatever they may be, can bring peace and contentment."—Thomas S. Monson

Let the Summer fun begin!

By the time we got home from our travels to Europe,
Boise was well into summer.
Devin and Sarah and family were still staying with us
(they close on their house on July 2)
and took care of the house, flowers and pool while we were gone.
It was fun to come home and start summer off officially with a pool party!
Eva and Sophie don't mind if the pool isn't very warm.

You have to celebrate the start of summer with some ice cream!
Since I was having Italian food withdrawal,
I recreated an Italian feast
complete with bruschetta, salami, prosciutto, caprese salad
and a cheese tray and lots of Italian bread.

Sarah, Eva, Sophie and I headed to the Saturday Farmer's Market
in downtown Boise.
It is fun sampling all the yummy foods
and buying my favorite Kettle corn.
Our pool was officially opened when we invited the Smith's over for a swim.
Eva and Sophie love having 2nd cousins to swim with!

Here's to lots more pool parties. Let the summer fun begin!

That looks like a pretty cute crew in your pool - all of those cute kid faces! I love to go to that Farmer's Market with Missy when we visit - it's the best idea ever! So happy for you to have one of your family of kids and grandkids nearby.

A POOL IS A KID MAGNET! How fun to be able to share it with your grand kids and the Smiths! Your Italian feast looks wonderful - wish I could have been there to try some!
