It was so fun having Whitney and Taylor stick around the week after Christmas.
We did lots of relaxing and watching ballgames and shopping.
Whitney is everyone's favorite fashion consultant and she is so fun to shop with.
We went out to the new shopping center in Meridian, The Village, and did some damage at Charming Charlie's.
Taylor wore his new white elephant gift BSU Christmas sweater to watch the Fiesta Bowl.
Go Broncos?
We have a fun tradition in our neighborhood of doing a progressive dinner every year at Christmas.
We decided to have it on New Year's Eve this year.
1st stop, Manwaring's house for appetizer.
These are the Hathaway/Manwaring granddaughters.
Next stop was Hathaway's house for main course,(I forgot to take a pic)
and last stop was our house for dessert and games.
We had a wild game of HOT DICE.
After the party, Whitney and Taylor went to the YSA New Year's Eve dance down at BSU.
You'll have to ask Taylor sometime about his random
New Year's eve kiss....
We drove up to Cascade on New Year's day for some cross country skiing and snow shoeing.
It was a beautiful blue sky day, but very cold.
Why does Taylor always have his mouth open in pictures?
Taylor and I cross country skied while Whitney and Tom snowshoed,
Tom made us a delicious lunch so we ate our picnic lunch and then
Taylor and I snowshoed and Whitney and Tom cross country skied.
We went up this hill!
Can you see Taylor up there in the left hand corner?
Can you see the valley down there?
I made it up to the top! I was so proud of me,
Taylor wouldn't let me give up.
It was actually really fun!
It was a great day.
On our way to celebrate Taylor's upcoming birthday at Tucano's
I snapped this picture of the sunset out of my car window.
It was so pretty!
Taylor loves the meat at Tucano's
Devin and Sarah got home from Las Vegas on Friday night, January 2 so we all went up to their house that night to play games.
We had another wild game of HOT DICE.
Here's hoping we all have a happy and healthy new year!

Looks like you had lots of fun with Whitney and Taylor - how fun to have them home! You are so athletic with cross country skiing in the cold, up mountains... This is keeping you young looking!
So fun!! Looking at your blog always makes me so jealous. What's Hot Dice?
I was going to ask the same thing. . . what is hot dice? I want to play and I want to go shopping with Whitney! It looks like you had a great time. I love the progressive dinner idea.
