"So much in life depends on our attitude. The way we choose to see things and respond to others makes all the difference. To do the best we can and then to choose to be happy about our circumstances, whatever they may be, can bring peace and contentment."—Thomas S. Monson

Trasher Family Reunion

We had such a great weekend together for the Morris Family Reunion. We reserved a condo at Tamarack in Donnelly and drove up on Friday morning. We couldn't check in until 4 pm so we drove to Payette Lake and spent the day on the beach. Tom had arrived earlier and
reserved us a beautiful spot.
Jon brought his remote control Jeep and the kids had so much fun chasing it around.

We had a perfect shady spot

Beach volleyball was a great activity.

And we had lots of floats.

And forts and sand castles.

These two could play Barbies all day everyday!

Sophie girl loves gymnastics.

Burying Barbies is also a great beach activity.

Beach babes

After our day at the beach we drove back to Donnelly and checked into our condo.
We had a delicious dinner and played games.
Taylor arrived on Friday night so on Saturday morning we
took the chair lift up to the top of Tamarack.

We hiked with Jonathan's "dog" his remote control jeep

 What a view!

And posed for pictures

We got back to our condo and had lunch,
the guys went mountain biking and we met them at the pool for a swim.

 The kids love Uncle Taylor

 Some of us were tired

When we got back to the condo we had the Morris family Olympics

After dinner we took family pictures.
You'd never know it by looking at the pics but the mosquitoes were eating us alive.
We couldn't wait to get out of that meadow

Sarah P takes such beautiful pictures

Tommy is in love with Brittany

We got back to the condo and put some of the grumpier kids to bed and then we had a karaoke party !

The highlight was Taylor and Brittany's dance number

Our talent showed evolved into a dance party
and Sarah P brought out the glow sticks

Sunday morning we packed up and headed back to Boise for some more family reunion fun
including a lesson on Family History.

Yes you did! I love, love, seeing your fun! Sarah's pictures are amazing. They are all so beautiful. Now we have the answer for the grandkids who beg for a dog: a remote-controlled jeep. I love it!
