"So much in life depends on our attitude. The way we choose to see things and respond to others makes all the difference. To do the best we can and then to choose to be happy about our circumstances, whatever they may be, can bring peace and contentment."—Thomas S. Monson

Hooray for the Red, White and Blue!

We started off July with a visit to the movie theater to see
Toy Story 4.
Alturas, Devin's work, rented the movie theater and
I got to use his ticket because he had a soccer game.
We loved the movie!

Whitney and Taylor arrived in Boise on July 2.
They initiated Tommy and Eva into the
Double Cheese Club.
On the 4th of July we headed to main street in Hidden Springs
to watch the parade.
Taylor spent the day with Brittany's family water skiing up at
Lucky Peak.

Here they come!
Sophie riding her bike
Tommy and the hulk in his power wheels

After the parade, we walked down to the party at the park
then went to Devin and Sarah's for pulled pork and other yummy salads.
Tom must have partied too hard at the parade because he fell asleep at Devin's house.

Sara and Jon and family were driving to Boise that day from Colorado
so we eagerly awaited their arrival.
These cousins were so excited to see each other.

Taylor and Brittany joined us for the Fireworks show.
Taylor is a great master of ceremonies.
We had to drive down the hill from our house to Riverglen Junior High
because you can't have fireworks in the foothills

Lizzy loved the fireworks and Uncle Taylor.
