"So much in life depends on our attitude. The way we choose to see things and respond to others makes all the difference. To do the best we can and then to choose to be happy about our circumstances, whatever they may be, can bring peace and contentment."—Thomas S. Monson

Sweet Baby James

Last Tuesday night Dad and I went to the James Taylor concert at the Idaho Center. It was one of the best concerts ever. To make it even better was the fact that we got a great deal on our tickets. Dad didn't want to buy the tickets in advance because they were $55 each plus the $8 handling fee, so we just showed up and hoped to buy them from someone at the gate. Sure enough, about 5 minutes before showtime, Dad found someone willing to sell us 2 for $70. We got to sit in the $75 seats with our $35 tickets so it was awesome. James did an excellent concert. His voice truly sounds as good as it does on the CD and he was so personable and seems to really enjoy singing and entertaining. It was a 3 hour concert and every minute was enjoyable. Can't wait til he comes back!

Devin will be so jealous. I hear so much about Tom's concert scheming... That's a great talent. If I had that maybe I'd have more than Chicago and the Oakridge Boys on my concert resume.
