"So much in life depends on our attitude. The way we choose to see things and respond to others makes all the difference. To do the best we can and then to choose to be happy about our circumstances, whatever they may be, can bring peace and contentment."—Thomas S. Monson

Basketball Team Dinner

We had Taylor's basketball team over for a team dinner tonight. We served all of Taylor's favorites, pulled pork, potato chips, carrot sticks and dip, lemonade and Texas sheet cake and ice cream.

Our dinner was a HIT! We had 14 kids go through 6 lbs of pork, 32 hamburger buns, 3/4 a sheet cake, a gallon of ice cream and lots of chips, dips, etc. It is amazing that not that many carrot or celery sticks or potato salad was eaten.(;

Hey, Dude, don't leave me out! I ate some too. The best part, at least for humor's sake, was that they all very politely took their shoes off when they came in and by the time they had spent a couple of hours in the basement doing what teenage boys do, there was a certain symphonic colleciton of pungent smells permeating the air down there so to speak. Yikes! Why would girls want anything to do with these stinky guys??

I can only imagine the stink of it all-- Taylor's feet alone are enough to knock somebody out. You should have charged for 2nds and 3rds, that way, Taylor could have gotten his Wii.
