"So much in life depends on our attitude. The way we choose to see things and respond to others makes all the difference. To do the best we can and then to choose to be happy about our circumstances, whatever they may be, can bring peace and contentment."—Thomas S. Monson

Happy 16th Birthday Taylor!

I can't believe my baby is 16. It doesn't seem that long ago that we headed to the hospital on a snowy January morning and were surprised with a 9 1/2 lb. baby boy instead of the little girl they had predicted. We're thankful he was a boy and he's brought our family lots of joy, entertainment, and laughs. We love you Taylor! He doesn't get to do anything too exciting to celebrate his special day. He had to get up and go to school (I did make his favorite cinnamon rolls for breakfast), then go to basketball practice, then go to the BSU basketball game with his basketball team where they will get to meet the BSU players. Needless to say, this isn't a very big thrill for him. Oh well, we'll try to celebrate some time this weekend. Here's some pictures from his most recent basketball games. He scored 24 points in Capital's win against Borah! FYI, Taylor is number 40.

What does "cleanup" mean? Are you kidding? Have you ever looked in his room downstairs or in his bathroom? He gets his outstanding athletic genes from me. He gets his messy genes from his mom. Ok, maybe that is also from me. Wait, I know. He got the messy genes from his sister Whitney!!! Now that makes sense!
