We had a baby shower for Sarah on Saturday. It was so fun. It was a busy summer weekend, but we still had a great turnout and Sarah received so many nice gifts. Everyone was so generous. Taylor helped with decorations by buying some balloons. He had strict instructions to buy pink and white balloons, but came home with a surprise baby "Clemmy" balloon. It was pretty cute. Devin even made crepes for our brunch. They were delicious. We had strawberries, lemon sauce, nutella, bananas, Costco frozen berries, homemade strawberry jam, cream cheese filling, whipped cream and powdered sugar as toppings. We also made a yummy lime slush. Everything turned out delicious. We experimented earlier in the week and made frozen chocolate bon bons. Here's one of our attempts:

We finally figured out how to dip the frozen ice cream in hot melted chocolate and they turned out great!Sorry, we forgot to take a picture of the good ones.
Missy provided a couple of games and we all had a fun time. We so appreciated everyone's love and support!

The shower was so, so, so fun! Thank you, Joan, for putting on such a nice party for me. I still can't believe how many friends I have. ;)
What are we supposed to do with all of that baby stuff? Baby Clemmy is gonna have a new outfit for every day of her first two years!
Wow!! You really did make a haul. That was a lot of pink clothing I saw. You'll have to tell me the secret to dipping the bon-bons b/c I saw that recipe and bought stuff to make it too! Looks yummy!
I wish I could have been at the party! The Clemmy balloon was a great idea! I don't care if the bon bons don't look bon bonny. I want to plant my face in the mess. They look yummy!
What a haul!!! That will be the best dressed baby!!! The food look food network worthy!!:)
Wow! I love Devin's crepes with nutella and fruit! Delish! Sounds like you had a blast. I was wondering about the trick to the bon-bon dippings as well. It sounds super tricky.
