"So much in life depends on our attitude. The way we choose to see things and respond to others makes all the difference. To do the best we can and then to choose to be happy about our circumstances, whatever they may be, can bring peace and contentment."—Thomas S. Monson

Twin Falls Temple Open House

I got to go with the young men and young women of our ward to the Twin Falls Temple Open House on Saturday. We left around 9:30 am and went to Shoshone Falls where we had a picnic, then we went to the Temple for the tour. The temple is BEAUTIFUL! The endowment room has a hand painted mural of Shoshone Falls on the walls and the celestial room is amazing. It is so bright. It has windows with beautiful stained glass inlaid with Syringa flowers. The members in Twin Falls are so blessed to have such a beautiful temple now in their midst. They have faithfully travelled to Boise to the temple for many years and now their valley will be blessed with this beautiful temple.

What a wonderful thing is to be able to attend a Temple Open House! We too also felt very blessed when the Columbia River Temple was announced, and when it was finally completed. By the way...it was so good to see you guys this summer too, and thanks for letting us drop by and steal a couple of kisses and hugs from Lucy :)

What a pretty temple. I so can't wait to be closer to a temple. I just miss how often I used to be able to escape the chaos!
