"So much in life depends on our attitude. The way we choose to see things and respond to others makes all the difference. To do the best we can and then to choose to be happy about our circumstances, whatever they may be, can bring peace and contentment."—Thomas S. Monson

Fun times in Philly

I just got back from a wonderful 8 days back east visiting Sara, Jon and family. I flew out last Tuesday and got to spend 3 days hanging out with Sara and the kids before the rest of the family joined us. Sara had our schedule so well planned and we were going every minute. We spent Wednesday at the "Please Touch" Museum which was amazing. I loved it just as much as Lucy. That evening we got to go to a Phillies game. We saw the Phillies lose to the San Francisco Giants 4-0 but it was a beautiful evening and just so fun to be there. Thursday, we drove to Lancaster County and took an Amish buggy ride and ate pretzels and shopped in the outlet malls. It was another beautiful day and the countryside was gorgeous. Friday we spent running errands and getting ready for the rest of the family to arrive. We ate dinner at a yummy Italian restaurant in downtown Philly called "Ralph's". It is the oldest family owned Italian restaurant in Philly. Devin, Sarah and Eva arrived Friday evening and Taylor flew in later that night. Sara and Jon were such great hosts and fed us and chauffeured us and entertained us!
