"So much in life depends on our attitude. The way we choose to see things and respond to others makes all the difference. To do the best we can and then to choose to be happy about our circumstances, whatever they may be, can bring peace and contentment."—Thomas S. Monson

Wedding Weekend

I'm finally back home from all my travels so get ready for a blogging bonanza!
Two weeks ago we travelled down to Utah to attend Hailey and Conrad's reception, wedding, and the BYU/TCU Homecoming football game. We had a great weekend.
We went to the reception on Friday night.
It was a beautiful reception and it was so fun to see all the Mickelsen family and Pam and Roger and Rick and Jodie and family.
The sealing ceremony in the Logan temple on Saturday morning was beautiful. Elder Lynn Mickelsen did a wonderful job explaining the sealing ordinance. It was so nice being in the Logan temple with all the Gabrielsen family. I know all our ancestors were there with us and so happy that we were there in the temple together. I love going to Cache Valley, the fall colors were glorious. After the sealing and pictures, we headed up to the cemetery to decorate Mom and Dad's graves with pumpkins :) and then we went to Maddox for the wedding luncheon. The food and company were amazing!
!
After the luncheon, we hurried and changed and the Hinton family drove us to Provo and the BYU Homecoming football game. Even though the Cougars lost, it is a treat to go to Cougar Stadium and enjoy the beautiful setting.

We had great seats on the 20 yard line, thanks Devin and the Palmer family. Welcome to the family Hailey!

It was a fun weekend and a beautiful wedding. Glad I got to see you there since I DON'T get to see you this weekend. I'm not bitter.
