"So much in life depends on our attitude. The way we choose to see things and respond to others makes all the difference. To do the best we can and then to choose to be happy about our circumstances, whatever they may be, can bring peace and contentment."—Thomas S. Monson

Basketball Team Dinner

We seem to always host the basketball team dinner right around Taylor's birthday so his team can help him celebrate. We served pulled pork, chips, veggies, and Texas sheet cake and ice cream. How much food can 12 hungry boys go through? Amazingly we went through 10 lbs of pulled pork, a bottle of Sweet Baby Ray's barbecue sauce, 24 hamburger buns, two bags of chips, lots of carrots, a whole Texas sheet cake and a 1/2 gallon of ice cream.
It must have hit the spot because they ended up winning their game the next night :)

Ha! That wasn't pulled pork. That was old beef chunks from the DI cannery that Joan threw out but that I saved out of the garbage last spring. Those dumb boys will eat anything!!! HAHAHAHAHA
