Tom took work off on Martin Luther King day and we headed up to Cascade and went cross country skiing. It was a beautiful blue sky day and the snow was perfect. We skied and then had a picnic (of course) and then skied some more.
When we got back to Boise, we took Taylor out to dinner at Outback for his birthday. There's nothing better than meat for this carnivore boy!
They gave him a free "chocolate thunder from down under" for his birthday! Lucky kid!

What a gorgeous day! Wow! Do you own your own cross country ski equipment?
That's awesome!!! I think someday I will try cross country skiing if I can look at beautiful scenery the whole time!
You guys always do the funnest things! Looks like your "MLK Date" was a lot of fun :)
What a fun day. The weather and snow and bright blue sky are beautiful. Better than what we did for MLK day...well, wait. We didn't do anything!
You lucky ducks! How fun!
