"So much in life depends on our attitude. The way we choose to see things and respond to others makes all the difference. To do the best we can and then to choose to be happy about our circumstances, whatever they may be, can bring peace and contentment."—Thomas S. Monson

In Honor of Whitney

In honor of Whitney, we ate lunch at a Russian Cafe out in Eagle yesterday. It was so delicious! I had the lunch special which included, borscht (soo good), ham and cheese blini,
and a dessert blini. I have so say that Russian blinis (crepes) are much lighter than French crepes. They are delicious! The dessert crepe had yummy fruity jam in the middle. Tom had the beef stroganoff and it was also really tasty. They served it with mashed potatoes and really good rice and corn salad. (He is wearing his Russian outfit, so don't make fun of him) I can't wait to take Whitney to the Cafe Russian Bear when she returns.
I also discovered a wonderful surprise in my yard this week. See, spring is on its' way Whitney! :)

That food looks yummy- what a fun adventure. I remember you did the same thing when Devin was in France- you immerse yourself in the culture, so you can experience what your kids are experiencing. What great parents. Yea for spring!!!

I'll have your blog shut down so fast you won't know what hit you!!!!

I can't believe you have tulips sprouting already!!! No fair. We still have a foot of snow in most places. What a fun cafe and a great way to celebrate the CHeat. I want to go when I'm there!!
p.s. Dad, I sort of remember NOT missing that outfit, but you were relentless as always that it was a "great" looking shirt. Maybe you'll cooperate a little better on the next round?
