"So much in life depends on our attitude. The way we choose to see things and respond to others makes all the difference. To do the best we can and then to choose to be happy about our circumstances, whatever they may be, can bring peace and contentment."—Thomas S. Monson

Senior Night Celebrations

Friday night was Capital High's last home basketball game of the season so it was the night set aside to honor the graduating senior basketball players and cheerleaders. Each senior was introduced and escorted onto the court by his or her parents. The senior presented a rose to his Mom and the coach presented a plaque to the senior. Unfortunately our pictures didn't turn very great, but I'll get a nice photo from the school that a pro photographer took. The senior parents brought treats for the team for after the game. I made "basketball" cupcakes (I don't think I better give up my day job, oh wait, that is my day job).
Unfortunately the celebrations didn't include a win (Centennial won the basketball game). I can't believe the basketball season is coming to an end. They play at Eagle on Tuesday night and the District tournament starts on Saturday. We made posters to decorate their lockers. Go Eagles!!

I love the basketball cupcakes! How crazy that Taylor is a senior and the 2nd sports season is almost over. He'll be playing for BYU before we know it. Then you can get a new day job if you want it. Even crazier!

By the way, Brian is okay. The tests came back normal. Yay.

Aunt Joan, those cupcakes are absolutely darling! I'm very impressed. And Taylor is quite the b-ball star. Good work, both of you.
