"So much in life depends on our attitude. The way we choose to see things and respond to others makes all the difference. To do the best we can and then to choose to be happy about our circumstances, whatever they may be, can bring peace and contentment."—Thomas S. Monson

Taylor's "last" Senior Prom

Taylor had his "last" Senior Prom this weekend. I don't think that the boys get as excited about going to the Prom as the girls, but he decided to succumb to peer pressure and he asked his friend Taryn to go. The Prom ended up costing him about $160 and I'm sure he thinks he would have had just as much fun going bowling, but it was his "last" time to go. So, alas,
Here's how Taylor asked Taryn to go:
He made this T-shirt with Taryn's face on it and wore it to their Math class.
They went to breakfast at Appleby's and then played tennis for their day date. Taylor all ready to go. He picked her up that evening and they took pictures at Kathryn Albertson Park with about 200 other couples. There were 3 other proms in Boise on Saturday night.
Taylor and Chad ready for a night out.

They ate dinner at Lock, Stock, and Barrel and then they went to the dance. I understand Taylor tore up the dance floor. After the dance their group went back to Taryn's house and roasted marshmallows for smores and blew up a "works" bomb (for more info, you'll have to ask Taylor). All in all, I think Taylor would just as soon have gone bowling.

Hmmmm, Taylor is one handsome devil. All in all I'd say the prom dresses were slightly more modest than last year's...which isn't saying much. Farewell $160!!

Those girls look like a flower garden in their pretty colors. The boys look okay too. Why didn't you ask the girl that texted you Taylor??? I think I'd rather go bowling, too.

Is it just me or did the guys color coordinate their ties with their dates dresses? I don't remember doing that when I was in high school.

Whoa 160! I would rather go bowling or shopping! Taylor looked so handsome! I hope those girls are not members dressed like that!

Fun pictures! I can't believe Taylor is so grown up - all the kids are grown up now!! Life is filled with "lasts" and "firsts" I guess that is what keeps things interesting!!

So much for the ladies man. Looks like TayMo has left the building, and just in time. One more prom and we would all be broke. Just think Taylor, you could have bought your very own bowling ball with that kind of money. Maybe Uncle Ken will give you a loan.

Yes, the boys did color coordinate their ties and vests with their date's dresses and no, none of the girls are LDS.
