"So much in life depends on our attitude. The way we choose to see things and respond to others makes all the difference. To do the best we can and then to choose to be happy about our circumstances, whatever they may be, can bring peace and contentment."—Thomas S. Monson

Time for the "Branchout"

Since I haven't been camping enough yet this year (said with a smirk) we headed to the mountains last Friday for the annual YSA Branch campout. We went up to the Lowman area to the Pine Flats campground and immediately set our tent up in the "No tents allowed" part of the campground. The campout was really well attended with lots of the YSA's driving up for the festivities. We all enjoyed hanging out in the hot springs and roasting hot dogs and that night we had an awesome campfire with fiddle music, gourmet s'mores and ghost stories told by the branch presidency.

Saturday morning the Branch presidency made everyone "Mountain Man" breakfast.

It was delicious! We hung out at the campground, some went back to the hot springs, some fished, and then we took down our tents and headed home. We stopped for a picnic along the way. Taylor was thrilled.
It was a great Branch activity!
