I love General Conference Weekend! It seems we are often traveling during Conference but this year, we were able to stay home and listen to all the wonderful messages from Conference. Some of my favorites were: President Uchtdorf's talk on the worth of a soul;Carl B. Cook's talk reminding us to "Look Up"; President Eyring's talk on our baptismal covenants; Sister Elaine Dalton's talk on "How to Raise a Daughter", Elder Matthew Richardson's talk on teaching, Elder Quentin Cook's talk on trials. I always love President Monson's messages and there were were so many more I could mention but those were a few that stood out. I have to give a shout out to Whitney's mission president Randall K. Bennett. He gave a great message on making correct choices. Now the hard part comes, trying to apply all those teachings into my life.
While listening this year I decided to keep my hands busy by doing a few projects. 3 burp cloths, 2 bibs, 2 pillowcases(don't show Eva and Lucy) and one baby quilt.. I'm all set with new baby gifts for a while.

wow! Nice work. Now I feel bad that I just sat there.
You are so talented, Joan! The way my mind works these days, only one thing processes at a time. Way to multi-task!
Nice work!! You need to start selling stuff on Etsy, and you'd really be rolling in the dough. MORE grand kid visits!!
Eva is going to love the pillowcase. I can already tell you that. Devin made me take the girls out of the room so he could actually listen to the "Daughters" talk. I loved that one. I love Conference.
We just got your package in the mail and that adorable pink and brown bib was in it. I LOVE it! You are so talented. Thanks!
