One of my favorite fall traditions is driving out to Sunnyslope to buy apples. I'd go with my Mom and Dad every year. Now that they are gone, Missy and I make it an annual trip. Anderson got to go with us this year.
After our trip to Williamson's Orchard, we stopped for lunch at the Orchard house. What a fun day!
Friday afternoon, Tom and I took a picnic up to Garden Valley. We were disappointed to find that not many of the leaves had changed, but we made the best of it with a yummy picnic,
some target practice with the BB gun,
and a soak in the hot springs. October doesn't get much better than this.

That does look like a very fun day with Missy. I'm so glad you keep the tradition alive. A beautiful Fall outing with Tom, too. You guys are mountain maniacs.
I LOVE your tradition of getting apples with Missy! Wish I could go with you! Such cute pics of Anderson and great fall pics - so pretty in the mountains!
I remember going with you to Sunny Slope in past years - I miss it!! You make so many opportunities to have a picnic - good for you! I know how you love a good picnic!
I didn't even recognize little Anderson-- he looks like I remember Sammy looking. What a great tradition!
