"So much in life depends on our attitude. The way we choose to see things and respond to others makes all the difference. To do the best we can and then to choose to be happy about our circumstances, whatever they may be, can bring peace and contentment."—Thomas S. Monson

October Outings

One of my favorite fall traditions is driving out to Sunnyslope to buy apples.  I'd go with my Mom and Dad every year. Now that they are gone, Missy and I make it an annual trip. Anderson got to go with us this year.

After our trip to Williamson's Orchard, we stopped for lunch at the Orchard house. What a fun day!

Friday afternoon, Tom and I took a picnic up to Garden Valley. We were disappointed to find that not many of the leaves had changed, but we made the best of it with a yummy picnic,
some target practice with the BB gun,
and a soak in the hot springs. October doesn't get much better than this.

That does look like a very fun day with Missy. I'm so glad you keep the tradition alive. A beautiful Fall outing with Tom, too. You guys are mountain maniacs.
