After spending some time visiting family in Nevada and Utah, Sarah, Eva and Sophie came to Boise for a visit. We had so much fun entertaining them before Devin flew in and joined them. We went to the zoo with their friends from Richmond who now live in Boise,
we played in the hot tub,
and went out to lunch.
Devin flew in on Saturday, just in time for the Hyde Park Street Fair so we headed to the north end of Boise for all the festivities.
We played at the park,
had frozen yogurt at U-Swirl,

and visited Grandma and Grandpa Charlie.
Poor Devin and Sarah got sucked into helping with all the BYU vs. BSU Football game festivities. We all went to the Football fireside on Wednesday night and they helped with the Tailgate party on Thursday.

Then Devin and I got to go to the football game, but more on that in the next post.
Whitney came to town for the weekend and that added to the fun.
We had an awesome Tea party with Whitney's special recipe for "Russian" tea.
We were very sad when the Virginians had to fly back to Richmond. Whitney stuck around for one more day so we took her to dinner at a new Cuban restaurant in Boise. It was delicious.

We love visitors from Virginia, North Carolina, Utah, pretty much anywhere. Come back soon!

What a fun Grandma you are!! I'll bet you were sad to see them go. Sigh. I share your pain.
You found lots of fun things to do with your visitors and, by their happy faces, it looks like everyone had so much fun! This Grandma/Grandpa stuff tends to be feast or famine!
I love all the cute pictures of Eva & Sophie - they are really growing up! You did lots of fun things while they were there and made the most of your time together!
How fun! I'm sure Devin didn't mind helping with all the BYU/BSU stuff since it's his calling in life. Was the Cuban restaurant as good as the one in NYC?
