Last Saturday we bid farewell to a longtime member of our family. We sold the Honda.
The first car we purchased as a married couple was a 1983 Honda civic. We bought it the same year Sara was born and it has served us well for the past 29 1/2 years. All of our kids learned to drive a stick shift in the Honda and used it for their "teenage wheels". I think each of them has fond memories of riding around town in the Honda, aka "Hondini" nicknamed by Devin. Tom has used it as his "mountain car" for the past several years, but the time had come to part with it. It was a great car and Tom had 20 offers the first day he listed it on Craigslist. Hopefully the new owner will get as much enjoyment from the car as we did.
Happy Trails to you Hondini!

Do you guys remember that we purchased Tom's white Honda Civic he had in college? It lasted for us, then as teenage wheels for two of our kids! Honda Civics rock!
You will be glad that you have all those photo memories of the car as the years go by! I love that dad took pictures of some of the cars that we had growing up! I wish that he had taken a picture of more of them!
For the record, his first name was Harry. RIP Harry Hondini.

How that sucker sold for as much as it did is beyond me. Dad must have used his Jedi mind powers on that one.
