"So much in life depends on our attitude. The way we choose to see things and respond to others makes all the difference. To do the best we can and then to choose to be happy about our circumstances, whatever they may be, can bring peace and contentment."—Thomas S. Monson

Spring Piano Recital

I had my Spring Piano Recital last Monday night. It is always a big relief to finish my lessons for the school year and host the piano recital. We had over 50 people in attendance and the house was FULL!
 My students did great.
Here's the program. It had kind of a "pop" theme because I let my students choose what pieces they want to memorize.
These 4 seniors are graduating from Capital High School this year! I have taught most of them for over 10 years so I will really miss them!

I have a few students signed up for summer lessons in June and July, but summer lessons aren't as stressful, so I have a nice break until next September!

Congratulations! I had my vocal recital the same week. But, alas, since Ken wasn't there, I didn't get any pictures. It feels nice to be on summer break, doesn't it?
