"So much in life depends on our attitude. The way we choose to see things and respond to others makes all the difference. To do the best we can and then to choose to be happy about our circumstances, whatever they may be, can bring peace and contentment."—Thomas S. Monson

A Weekend with the Boys!

President's Day weekend brought some visitors to Boise. Taylor came home from BYU on Friday night for the long weekend, and Devin flew in on Sunday afternoon for a job interview on Tuesday. It was so fun having my boys home. Tom had a scout campout on Friday night (who plans scout winter campouts on Valentine's Day?) so he was gone, so it was so nice to have Taylor home to keep me company. Saturday we hung out together and ran lots of errands. I took Taylor out to the new shopping center in Meridian. You can see the water fountain show in the background.
Saturday afternoon Tom got home so we all went out to dinner, a movie (Thor, not that good) and TCBY. It was a BIG date!
Since Monday was a holiday, Tom had the day off so he took the boys skiing up at Bogus.  It was a beautiful blue sky day and since we've been getting lots of rain in the valley, the snow was great!
To make it even better, they said it wasn't very crowded up at Bogus that day!
After dinner, Taylor wanted to introduce Devin to the latest trend in college dining - the McDirty which means you take a McDouble + Spicy McChicken, bun and all = Delicious
Don't they look like happy McDonald's customers?
"I'm lovin' it!"
Taylor drove back to Provo on Tuesday morning, Devin had his job interview on Tuesday morning and flew back to Richmond on Tuesday afternoon, but it was so fun having a weekend with my boys!

Good looking men in your family! I'm sure it was fun to have them all together! The "Mc Dirty" seems like a lot of bun and meat but if you are very hungry I'm sure it would be filling!

So glad you had them all home. I would have to disagree w/ you about Thor tho, I liked it.

I can still taste that McDirty. And that's not necessarily a good thing.
