"So much in life depends on our attitude. The way we choose to see things and respond to others makes all the difference. To do the best we can and then to choose to be happy about our circumstances, whatever they may be, can bring peace and contentment."—Thomas S. Monson

Christmas fun with Lucy

We have had such a fun time with Sara and Lucy. They arrived last Wednesday and we've tried to fill every minute with fun Christmas memories. We've spent a lot of time at Taylor's basketball games. Here he is going in for a layup. I think he made the basket!

Here's Lucy at the game with "Bampa".

We went to our Ward's Christmas party last Friday night. Lucy got to meet Santa Claus and you can see by the look on her face that she wasn't sure what to think:

We chose our Christmas tree and then decorated it this weekend. Here's the finished product.
Lucy has loved playing in the snow!
Tonight we went to the mall and Lucy got her picture taken with Santa. She's still not sure what to think of him, but she's warmed up a little.

We have lots more fun stuff planned for the days ahead and we can't wait for Aunt Cool to join us!

Kids make Christmas so much fun. Tell Lucy that I'm a little scared of Santa myself... it's ok.
