Taylor's Capital High School JV basketball team is about midway through their season. They have a great team and are 12-2. We hosted the team dinner last Thursday night. It was fun having all the boys here. It is amazing how much food 13 boys go through. We had "Cafe Rio" sweet pork burritos and salad and Texas sheet cake and ice cream. They seemed to really like it as evidenced by how little food was left over. We are blessed that Taylor has such great friends and teammates. It is fun having the kids in our home.

Morris Meals
Once a month I have the Mia Maids over for "Mia Maid Munchies". On Saturday morning I make their favorite breakfast "Breakfast burritos" and the girls come over and we eat and talk and plan. It is a fun tradition and the girls love coming over for good food and lots of conversation. Here's a picture (I think the girls would kill me if they knew I posted a picture on my blog of them without makeup :)

I'll take some "Morris Meals" when you come here for that baby!! The RS always asks if I want meals brought in, and I'm like, "Why?? My mom's coming." I'd much rather have you're cooking any day. Right Dad?:)
You are so nice to have the girls, but I swear it's more often than once a month. It seems you're always having them. You're even nicer to feed all of those active, growing boys! Why am I suddenly hungry for cafe rio?
Wait a minute! I just read about you on your profile and it says you and Tom met in an Old Testament class? And here all these years I thought you met at the Cougar Eat when Tom sat down at your booth, dug his spoon in your frozen yogurt, and started eating your food. Hmmmmmmm. Are you trying to change history? I like my story better.
Wow, makes me feel like a big loser. I have never had anyone over for meals. Anyone want to come over and I'll make pancakes, or grilled tuna and cheese (that's all I can cook)? While I do remember young ms. Joan with her golden hair in my Old Testament class, I don't ever remember meeting her before the a fore referenced frozen yogurt incident.
So Tom has a very bad memory. We were introduced to each other after an Old Testament class at the back of the classroom in the MARB. Then, I was sitting eating frozen yogurt a few days later with the same mutual friend at the Cougar Eat, when Tom came along and sat down beside me and began eating my frozen yogurt. He has always liked to make grand entrances.
Lucky, lucky, Mia Maids to have such an awesome Young Women Leader! That goes as well for Taylors basketball team, to be able to come to your house and feast on your good cooking and hospitality :) It looks like everyone had a great time!
Sounds like a bunch of Tomfoolery to me!
Wow...didn't know that about the Old Testament class either. But it's weird, really, considering dad's fascination with the Old Testament-- I mean, he claims it as his favrotie scripture to study. Who does that?? Does it have anything to do with the fact that maybe all those years ago he paid better attention in class, hoping to impress the young Goldilocks with some deep Isaiah-confounding comment??
I'm kinda hungry after reading that post, I wonder why? The breakfast burritos and cafe rio sounds really yummy.
I always wondered where this Morris TCBY craze came from. Now I know...
This is great entertainment just reading everyone's comments. I've totally forgotten what I was gonna write about the post, but I do remember hearing the frozen yogurt/BYU Cougar Eat story. Now I know the real truth. ;)
