"So much in life depends on our attitude. The way we choose to see things and respond to others makes all the difference. To do the best we can and then to choose to be happy about our circumstances, whatever they may be, can bring peace and contentment."—Thomas S. Monson

Guess who's 22 today??

Guess who's 22 today? Here are some hints as to who this mystery person is: She wasn't due til Feb. 21, but I went into labor on Ground Hog's day. We were excited to have a ground hog baby, but she had her own ideas and came at 12:30 am on Tuesday, Feb. 3, 1987 weighing in at 7 lbs. 13 oz. She is super talented and can sing and scat like Ella, and play the piano like Dianna Krall. She LOVES to "party" and throws the best parties in the world. She has a mean back hand on the tennis court. She LOVES babies and has been known to "baby snatch" every chance she gets. She loves to cook and she makes the best chocolate chip cookies (just ask Missy and Jedd). She is the only child who BEGS to camp with her Dad. She's been known to wait tables at the "Smokehouse", teach jazz piano at BYU, and entertain at weddings and other gigs. She is the most unselfish person I know. She always thinks of other people BEFORE herself. She has active tear ducts and cries during TV shows, commercials, church, movies, etc., much to her chagrin. She has a beautiful smile and the bluest eyes you've ever seen. She has a contagious giggle. Her friends call her "the Chief". She is a wonderful daughter, sister and friend. You guessed it! It's WHITNEY!!!
We Love You Whitney!!

Way to go Chief! Just think, in another 30 years or so, you'll be as old as me. I know, kind of depressing, so on second thought don't think about that and just enjoy your special day. I love you!! (Let's camp AND party!!!)

Happy Birthday!!! Hope you had a great day. You are so incredibly amazing! And I loved how your mom posted it. It always kinda bugs me when you never hear all those incredible facts about a person until they die and it's in an obituary. So glad you're not dead, but just one year older, and I learned more about you. ;)Love you!

... and she makes you feel so super good when you are around her which is probably why she has so many friends. And I get to be one of them! Happy Birthday, Whit!
