"So much in life depends on our attitude. The way we choose to see things and respond to others makes all the difference. To do the best we can and then to choose to be happy about our circumstances, whatever they may be, can bring peace and contentment."—Thomas S. Monson

Capital is on to STATE!
Taylor had a great basketball season this year playing for the Capital JV team. They ended up losing to Centennial in the semifinal District tournament game by 1 point, but Taylor had a great game and scored 24 points in their loss. Centennial played the game of their lives and shot around 70% so they were hard to beat. The JV's ended up with 19 wins and only 3 losses so they had a great season!
Last week after Taylor's JV season ended, the Varsity coach called up 3 of the JV players to join the varsity squad for the District Tournament and hopefully the State tournament. Taylor, Ben and Greg were moved up to varsity and practiced with them all last week. Capital won their first two games of the tournament this week which qualified them for the State tournament. Capital will play for the District championship next Friday night. Yippee, Taylor gets to go to state! He hasn't seen any playing time yet(the JV players aren't allowed to play in the Varsity district tournament because they played in the JV tournament), but will at least get to dress down and participate in the state tournament. Good luck Capital!!

Congrats to Taylor!! He should have been starting on Varsity all along if you ask me, but not everyone can love Beanold as much as I do. In the words of Lucy, "Go Taylo!!"
Go Taylor Go!! That means you will have been to State 3 times already(2 tennis, 1 basketball). I never did make it to State. I'm still bummed out about that. But enough about me and my miseries. Go Tayor Go!!
I agree with Sara- he should have been on varsity- but he's had a great season and been the star! Good luck, Taylor!
Wow! Go Taylor. He's a star. I loved seeing all those pictures. He used to my my "little" cousin, not so much anymore. ;)
