"So much in life depends on our attitude. The way we choose to see things and respond to others makes all the difference. To do the best we can and then to choose to be happy about our circumstances, whatever they may be, can bring peace and contentment."—Thomas S. Monson

Kristen's Picture Tag

Kristen had a post on her blog a few weeks ago where she took at least 5 random pictures around her house. She tagged me, but we've been so busy around here with basketball games, piano festival, Sarah and Eva visiting, etc. that I didn't get it done, but I'm finally posting my pictures. Here are my 6 random pictures:
Room that stays the cleanest:
My living room.

Work in progress:
My craft table. I have so many unfinished projects on that table :(

What someone else is doing right now:
Taylor doing his homework on the computer (Homework, right, I actually think he's on Facebook)

Favorite decor or display/something handed down:
These are my Dad's paintings. I have them on the wall in my family room.

Something that represents your current life:
Basketball games/Go Capital, they play their first game at State on Thursday night!

Favorite relaxing spot:
My morning scripture reading chair. I love my chair and ottoman.

I am soooo disappointed I didn't make the "work in progress" photo. For crying out loud, you've been working on me for more than 30 years now. Do you think you will ever be finished?

True that, Tom! How fun to see your beautiful home! I loved how you displayed Dad's pictures and I love, love your beautiful gold chair. Come decorate my house.

Oh and I tried your steel cut oatmeal recipe this morning. That is unbelievably good!

Your entire house stays the cleanest. I don't know how you do it. Especially with your "work in progress" and all his "work in progress". ;)

LOL to Uncle Tom's comment. He is hilarious! I loved seeing your house. Thanks for doing this despite all of your crazy times! Your living room is gorgeous and I love how you have grandpa's pictures displayed. I miss him! Tell Taylor good luck at state for me. How exciting! Someday maybe I can actually come and see your beautiful new home!

How fun to see those pictures! And I also love Grandpa Gabe's paintings--I sure do miss him too. It also sounds like I gotta find your steel cut oatmeal bread recipe. We love new breads around our house.

That last comment was actually from me, Shonna.
