"So much in life depends on our attitude. The way we choose to see things and respond to others makes all the difference. To do the best we can and then to choose to be happy about our circumstances, whatever they may be, can bring peace and contentment."—Thomas S. Monson

Boise Bracket

Boise is hosting the first round of NCAA college basketball games this weekend. It is always next to impossible to get tickets to the games, but because of the economy (no one can afford the $67 per session ticket prices) and the lack of big name teams playing in Boise, we were able to get two tickets to the evening session last night. I took Taylor and we saw Portland State play Xavier and Wisconsin upset Florida State. The first game wasn't very exciting (Xavier won easily), but the second game was classic "March madness". 12th seeded Wisconsin beat Florida State by 2 points in overtime. It is always so exciting to be in the college basketball atmosphere of the tournament. It's cool to see the dedicated fans from all over the country travel to support their teams. It's also fun to see the cheerleaders, mascots, and mass of media people. We had a great time attending the Boise bracket games, unfortunately in our online Morris Madness brackets, I'm in last place.

Sounds like fun!! All I can think of is, "Go Taylo basketball!!" Hope you're having fun in St. George...and oh yeah, I made those little Pillsbury sugar cookies w/ the pictures on them, and out of nowhere Lucy says, "Taylo like these cookies." She remembered all the way back from Christmas that we bought and made him some!! Funny girl.
