Sunday, after Sacrament meeting, we drove through Logan to visit the cemetery and then on to Provo where Whitney had a delicious Sunday dinner prepared for us. It was fun being with Whitney in the "kissing booth" as her house is affectionately referred to.
Monday morning Taylor and I got up and drove to St. George. We enjoyed going to the St. George Temple visitor's center Monday night and watching two great movies for FHE.
Tuesday, Taylor and I hiked the hill behind Kay's house and I got to go to lunch with Kay and Pam. Taylor spent the day with Hunter (a neighbor from Boise who also was spring breaking in St. George). Hunter helped him fight off the dog (see last year's blog) on their way to the tennis courts.
Wednesday, Taylor and I spent the afternoon with the Manwaring's and went to the Mountain Meadows Massacre site and then hiked the Temple quarry trail to where the basalt for the St. George temple foundation was quarried. That night I got to watch American Idol with the biggest AI fan, Aunt Kay.
Thursday Taylor and I headed to Las Vegas for some shopping and then we picked up Tom at the airport. It seems that every year Vegas gets skummier and skummier. The only redeeming thing was the breakfast buffet at the Paris.
Friday we headed back to St. George and Tom went golfing. That evening we had a fun family dinner at Pam and Roger's. Whitney and her roommate Cammi came down from Provo for the weekend, and Missy and the kids were also spring breaking in St. George so we had a major party!
Saturday, we had our annual Morris open tennis match. Taylor and I beat Whitney and Dad! Before Missy left town, we went on a hike with Missy and the kids at Dixie Red Hills. That afternoon we took a picnic up to Dixie Red Cliffs. It was a great picnic (9.0) with perfect weather, great company, and a fun hike. That evening we went to dinner with Kay and Ken at the Pasta Factory. It was YUMMY!
As usual, Spring Break was a blast! Thanks Kay and Ken for being such wonderful hosts! I just wish Spring would find its way to Boise!

Looks like fun! Glad Taylor was able to beat the dog during round two! It was fun to see you guys... and THANK YOU for watching the kids!
Great pictures of a great week! I need to blog mine, now.
Looks like I agree with everything that happened aside from the fact that Kay is the biggest AI fan ever-- we may actually be tied for first on that. Other than that, I wish I could have been there!!
Forget Spring Break. Next year I'm moving to St. George for the whole winter (something like November - May). The question is, who are the lucky ones who get us? (Kay? Pam? Don't all respond at once)
What a fun trip! It looks like you guys had a blast. I would love to visit St. George someday, it looks so pretty.
What a trip!!
