"So much in life depends on our attitude. The way we choose to see things and respond to others makes all the difference. To do the best we can and then to choose to be happy about our circumstances, whatever they may be, can bring peace and contentment."—Thomas S. Monson

Capital Goes to State!

The Basketball season is finally over. Capital competed at state for the first time in 3 or 4 years and Taylor actually got to dress down for the game and warm up! He didn't see much playing time, but it was a great experience for him to feel the excitement of the state tournament. Capital played Madison on Thursday night and lost, then played Borah in the consolation round and also lost. The good news is that Taylor got into the game with 38.7 seconds left and got in the stat book. He fouled a player and he made 2 points! All in all it was a great experience and I'm sure bigger and better things are in store for next year. Next up: Tennis! He travels to Lewiston this coming weekend for a tournament.

Personally, I think the basketball program is what gives "Crapital" its name....thank heavens for tennis which is a one-man show. Go Taylor! Fight! Win!

Straight from basketball to tennis?!? The poor kid doesn't get a break! Maybe he likes it that way! And yay for making 2 points in 38.7 seconds! I am playing intramural basketball (the first b-ball time since high school 12 years ago) and I haven't made 2 points in 4 games! SAD!
