"So much in life depends on our attitude. The way we choose to see things and respond to others makes all the difference. To do the best we can and then to choose to be happy about our circumstances, whatever they may be, can bring peace and contentment."—Thomas S. Monson

Memorial Weekend "Rock" Picnic

Whitney finally made it home from Philadelphia late Friday night. It is so fun having her home for a few days until she heads back to Provo. Two of her friends from Provo came to Boise also late Friday night to spend the Memorial weekend with us. We drove up to Garden Valley on Saturday and had a picnic. It was a great picnic with good scenery (including water, Tom), good weather, good company, and good food (thanks Kubo for making the sandwiches). We rated it a 9.0 because we had to subtract points because I forgot to bring the peanut butter brownies. :(
I deposited another of my "rocks" at our picnic site.

Awww, Whitney. Two boys all weekend to herself, vying for her attention and just fighting over who got to sit by her. Sounds like a Jane Austen novel. You know, I think you could ADD points for the entertainment value of that love triangle, thus making the picnic a perfect 10. Who needs PB brownies??
