"So much in life depends on our attitude. The way we choose to see things and respond to others makes all the difference. To do the best we can and then to choose to be happy about our circumstances, whatever they may be, can bring peace and contentment."—Thomas S. Monson

It must be the "Destroyer"

Well, the "destroyer" has caught up to us. Tom always says that when you have a missionary serving from your family, Satan, aka "the destroyer", tries to do everything possible to discourage you and cause chaos in your life. Well, this week, the computer has broken down (we got it started back up, but we think it's on its' last leg), the hot tub started acting up (we hopefully figured out its' issues), the dryer broke (needs a new heating element), the TV remote is broken, and we still have the long purple ethernet cord extending all the way from our bedroom, up the stairs and hooked to the computer because the wireless USB adapter we bought for $40 isn't working. At least our pet's heads aren't falling off :) (to quote a great line from the classic movie "Dumb and Dumber". The good news is, we are healthy and very happy because Sara and the kids spent 3 weeks with us and we had a great time with them before they left for their new home in Las Vegas and Sarah P and Eva are now visiting with us for a week :)We won't let a few minor distractions get in the way of some great summer memories.

I'm so sorry "the Destroyer" is visiting. He's visiting Kristen, too, and they don't even have a missionary! I'm glad "The Destroyer" isn't Eva. She is so dang cute. I keep picturing her and her little "run".

How terrible, I'm so sorry. You've got fun family to help you hang in there.
